Chief Pete Haithcock 1101 
Chief Haithcock joined the Department in 1976 and was appointed Chief in 1998 by the Town of Franklin as the first full time Chief.  He has served as the President of the Western North Carolina Association of Firefighters and Macon County Firemens Association. He is a retired Lieutenant Colonel with the NC Army National Guard.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Asst. Chief Tim Chavis 1102
Asst. Chief Chavis has been with the department for eleven years and is a full time employee with the fire department. He has been Asst. Chief for four years and is  a medical first responder. He is a level II Firefighter and a member of the Macon County Arson Team.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Asst. Chief Matthew Breedlove 1103
Asst. Chief Breedlove has been on the department for 6 years and is in his second year as Asst. Chief. He serves as a police officer with the Franklin Police Deptartment. He is a EMT-B, a level II Firefighter and a member of the Macon County Arson Team.
 
 
 
  
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
   
 Captain  Bo Garrison 1104
Bo has been in the fire service for twelve years and four years with Franklin Fire. He certainly serves as Captain. He is  a medical first responder and also a member of the Macon County Arson Team. He is a level II Firefighter. He is employed by NC DOT.

1st Lieutenant Ryan Hursey 1105
Ryan has been with the department for three years and is certainly 1st Lieutenant. He is employeed with Macon County Emergency Services as a EMT-I.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
  
 
 2nd Lieutenant  / Training Officer Keith Allen 1106
Keith has over 18 years experience and 14 of those years have been with Franklin. Keith has been the Training Officer for a nine years. He certainly serves as 2nd Lieutenant. Keith is a medical first responder, a level II firefighter and a certified instuctor. He is also a member of the Macon County Arson Team. He is employed at LBJ Job Corp.
 
  
 
 
 
 
 
2nd Lieutenant Carey Patton 1107
Carey has been with the department for 12 years. He is serving as 2nd lieutenant. He is a career firemen for Dekalb County Ga Fire Department. He is a level II Firefighter, EMT-I and a Haz-mat Tech. He also owns and operates his own landscaping business here in Franklin.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Rescue Captain Darian Greene 1108
Darian has been in fire service for eleven years with four years with Franklin Fire. He is serving as Rescue Captain. Darian is a medical first responder and a level II firefighter. He is employed with Tarheel Water Treatment. 
  
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Rescue Lieutenant Rick Rogers 1109
Rick has been with the department for 11 years. Rick is serving as Rescue Lieutenant and is a medical first responder. Rick is the carpentry teacher at Franklin High School.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Communication Officer / Secretary Gregg Day 1110
Gregg has been with the department for 20 years. He has served in the fire service for 31 years and was a founding member of the Nantahala Vol. Fire and Rescue  department. He is certainly a full time fireman  with Franklin Fire. He is a level II Firefighter, a medical first responder and a certified Fire Instuctor.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Safety Officer Farrell Jamison 1111
Farrell has been with the department for 31 years. He is the lead investigator for the Macon County Arson Team.  He is serving as safety officer. He now works for SCC part time as a fire coordinator. He is a level II Firefighter and a Haz-mat Tech. He is retired from Caterpillar.
 
 
 
 
Firefighter John Hook 1112
John Hook has been with the department for eleven years. He is  a medical first responder and a level I Firefighter. He is employed with the Macon County Sheriff's Office.

Jim has been with the department for 15 years. He is a EMT-B and a level I Firefighter.

Bill has been with the department for over 40 years. Bill has held a number of officer positions over the years. He is a retired Macon County  Asst. Principal. He is also a level I Firefighter.

Max has been with the department for 28 years. Max handles the NC State Firemens Relief Fund for thr Franklin Fire and Rescue. He is also a level II Firefighter. He is employed at Verizon.

Gary has been in the fire service for 13 years. He is also a medical first responder. He works at the family business Corbin & McMahan Heating and Air.

Jerry has over 24 years with the department and served as Lieutenant for 10 years. He is an engineer for Duke Power.
